Job Title: Backup Care Nanny
Location: Northern Virginia (Multiple Locations)
Pay: $19.00 per hour

Job Description:
We are seeking a responsible, compassionate, and reliable Backup Care Nanny to provide temporary childcare for families in the Northern Virginia area. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys flexibility, loves working with children, and is committed to offering high-quality, dependable care when needed most. This is an on-call position, where you'll step in as needed to ensure children are well cared for in a safe, nurturing environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide childcare for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and school-aged children
• Prepare snacks and meals as needed
• Organize and engage children in age-appropriate activities (play, crafts, reading, etc.)
• Always ensure the safety and well-being of children
• Follow parents' instructions and routines for daily care
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for the children
• Assist with light housekeeping, such as cleaning up after meals or activities

Requirements:

• At least 3 year of professional childcare experience (nanny, daycare, babysitting, etc.)
• CPR and First Aid certified
• Reliable, responsible, and punctual
• Must be able to pass background check and reference checks
• Must have reliable transportation to and from clients' homes
• Must be 18 years or older and legally eligible to work in the U.S.

• Strong communication skills and ability to follow family guidelines
• Comfortable working with children of all ages, including infants and toddlers
• Reliable and dependable in short-notice situations
