Billing Manager 

We are seeking an experienced Billing Manager with a strong background in legal billing to lead our client's billing operations. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of progressive billing experience , including at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role within a law firm or legal services environment .

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the end-to-end billing process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely submissions.

  • Supervise and mentor billing staff; provide guidance on complex billing issues and client guidelines.

  • Collaborate with attorneys and practice groups to resolve billing discrepancies and improve workflow.

  • Manage billing software systems (e.g., Elite, Aderant, or similar) and ensure system optimization.

  • Generate and analyze billing reports, track performance metrics, and present insights to leadership.

  • Ensure compliance with client billing guidelines and outside counsel requirements.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of billing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role, managing people and processes.

  • Prior experience in a law firm or legal services setting is required .

  • Proficiency in legal billing systems and strong understanding of e-billing platforms.

  • Exceptional attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills.
