Candidate requirements
Job specification - Plan, organize, and coordinate daily operations of the Cardiac Cath Lab and related Cardiovascular departments .
- Assist with workflow management and ensure efficient department functioning .
- Collaborate with Cardiovascular and Imaging managers to oversee operations and act as the department director in their absence .
- Provide strong leadership and team-building to ensure a high-performing, patient-centered work environment .
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, state regulations, and accreditation standards .
- Support staff development through mentorship, training, and performance evaluations .
- Ensure the department is equipped with the necessary technology, supplies, and resources for optimal patient care .
- Promote collaboration between physicians, nursing staff, and radiologic technologists to achieve the best patient outcomes.
Candidate requirements - Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology or Professional Nursing Program .
- Bachelor's degree - Required.
- Current registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) - OR -
- Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist by the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts - OR -
- Current licensure in Kansas as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Multi-State RN License .
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - Required
- Strong Cath Lab RN or Radiologic Technologist experience - Required.
- Minimum of one (1) year of leadership experience in Cardiac Cath Lab or Cardiovascular Imaging Services .
- Strong clinical skills, leadership abilities, and team-building expertise - Required.
