A manufacturing company in Grand Island is seeking 1st and 2nd & 3rd Shift Chemical Operator.

Shift: Monday-Friday 6:00am- 2:00pm & 2:00pm- 10:00pm & 10:00pm- 6:00am , but must be flexible to work other shifts for coverage purposes, as needed

Lots of voluntary OT available - OT can be before shift, after shift or on the weekends

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Learn and operate multiple chemical processes in a timely matter.
• Perform analytical tests on raw materials and final products.
• Record and monitor multiple parameters, such as process conditions, test results, and instrument readings. Be able to make adjustments based on data.
• Communicate with technical and supervisory personnel to report or resolve conditions affecting safety, efficiency, accuracy, and product quality.
• Move raw materials and products with a forklift or hand dolly.
• Charge raw materials to process, monitor process waste, and pack out final products
• Continually look to develop process improvements to enhance quality, safety, and productivity.
• Perform minor maintenance and housekeeping activities in their area as directed by the production leader.

Required Experience & Knowledge

• Machine Operator experience - Minimum 2 years
• Minimum - High School Diploma or equivalent
• Computer skills
