Job Title: Delivery Driver
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and care.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times and any issues encountered.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing any concerns.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with GPS and navigation systems.
- Physical stamina to lift and carry heavy items as needed.
Monday - Friday, Home every night
