Responsible for maintaining dishware, utensils, pots & pans and other food containers in a clean and sanitary manner by performing proper dishwashing procedures. Responsible for maintaining dining/ kitchen areas in a clean and sanitary condition that meets federal, state, and local regulations.

Duties include but are not limited to;

• Prepares dishes and utensils for placement in the dishwasher.
• Places dishes in the dishwasher and runs through cycles, assuring proper washing and rinsing temperatures and recording those temperatures in a log.
• Washes pots & pans and other applicable food containers manually and dries them thoroughly.
• Cleans hood, filters, fans, ovens, refrigerators, freezers, tray stands, and other equipment as directed.
• Performs general cleaning schedules as assigned, including walls and tiles.
• Removes garbage from kitchen/dining areas and cleans holders and receptacles.
• Cleans, mops, and sanitizes all kitchen floor areas.
• Bags and labels soiled dining linens and removes to designated pick-up point.
• Assists with incoming supplies, placing food and other items in appropriate storage areas.
• Assists in the delivery and retrieving of tray and other food carts from all dining room areas.

Per Diem

Weekend availability required
