OPEN POSITION:
- Physician, Geriatric Primary Care
- Must Speak Fluent Spanish
SCHEDULE:
- Full-Time
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00am to 5:00pm
- No Weekends / Evenings / Holidays
COMPENSATION:
- $300,000+ Annual Income
- $240,000 to $260,000 Base Salary, dependent upon experience
- 20% Annual Bonus

Their approach allows them to provide an unmatched experience for the geriatric population, with a model positioned to provide higher quality care and better outcomes. They are currently hiring due to growth.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The new physician will work as the lead in a team-based care environment, in a 100% outpatient and clinic-based capacity.
This value-based model focuses on quality of care for patients, with teams consisting of:
- physicians
- nurse practitioners / physician assistants
- pharmacists
- care coaches
- nurses
- medical assistants
- behavioral health providers
- referral coordinators
- and more
This model allows physicians to see fewer patients per day and spend more time in visits. New patient visits are typically scheduled for 60 minutes and established patient follow-ups for 40 minutes.
Providers see an average of 10 to 12 patients per day, with the support of their team.
Specific duties of the role include, but are not limited to:
- provide assessment, planning, primary care, and continuous medical coverage
- provide direction and support to members of the care team
- collaborate on care planning decisions
- assist in coordinating care delivery
The organization uses the eClinicalWorks EHR.
The office sees a high volume of Spanish-speaking patients and the new physician must speak Spanish fluently.
REQUIREMENTS:
- active Texas medical license
- active DEA
- Board Certified or Eligible, Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- experience or interest in value-based care models
- understanding of HEDIS measures
- extensive experience or training in geriatric primary care
- proficiency with electronic health records and documentation
- current geriatric fellows are welcome to apply

- Spanish fluency required
