Overview IT - EP Cores - Business Systems Analyst I. The Business Systems Analyst I role is responsible for engaging with various business units to translate business needs into quality software solutions and assist in the design, development, and implementation of identified solutions following Agile software development practices. This also includes the operational support for all managed enterprise-wide software solutions. In partnership with software vendors and business units, the analyst will maximize opportunities to use technology to improve products, services, and business processes. A solid understanding of the Credit Union’s enterprise-wide software solutions is required. PAY SCALE: $75,500.00 - $82,000.00 annually Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle for enterprise-wide software solutions by reviewing, analyzing, and documenting business unit needs, including workflow, program functions, and necessary steps to implement technical business processes. Lead joint business/IT requirements and solution discussions with stakeholders. Provide high-quality analytical system solutions for key stakeholders. Identify software functional gaps and opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with product owners to create product backlog using Agile practices. Create user stories with acceptance criteria. Participate in projects as technical subject matter expert from start to finish. Support 80% project work and 20% department process improvement; participate in scrum events and promote Agile practices. Design, document, and maintain process flows, technical requirements, diagrams, scenarios, mockups, and models for the development team. Provide Tier 2 application support to sustain day-to-day operations for enterprise-wide software solutions. Assist with software upgrades and incident management; communicate progress and resolution to users in line with SLAs. Coordinate with third-party service providers and internal teams to address software needs and production issues. Maintain strong working relationships with business lines, internal teams, and vendors. Participate in on-call support for critical after-hours issues as needed. Qualifications Education: Minimum two-year degree in Information Technology, Project Management, or Business Administration, or 2 years of experience. Bachelor’s degree in related fields preferred with 2+ years of experience. Agile certifications are preferred. Experience: Four+ years in financial or health services with technical business analysis, product development, and process improvement. Agile/DevOps experience with Azure ecosystem strongly desired. Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of financial industry concepts and Credit Union products, excellent oral/written communication, strong analytical, planning and organizational skills. Ability to analyze and document complex processes and manage system upgrades. Strong PC skills. Physical Requirements May require extended hours and occasional travel; ability to lift up to 20 lbs; normal vision and hearing; ability to interact with staff and vendors, and to diagnose problems remotely if needed.
