WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a local contract nursing job in Providence, Rhode Island.

WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract at a prestigious hospital in North Providence, Rhode Island.

Job Function:

Night Shift.
7:00 PM - 7:30 AM.
Manage the care of adult and pediatric patients with life-threatening conditions, requiring complex assessments and high-intensity therapies.
Provide emotional support, education, and comfort to patients and their families throughout their emergency room experience.
Maintain close communication with the healthcare team and independently recognize the need for early intervention.
Prepare patients for surgery or diagnostic testing, ensuring all necessary pre-operative procedures are completed.
Perform medical procedures including IV insertion, intubation, medication administration, blood draws, and other critical interventions.

Job Requirements:

2 years of acute care experience in the relevant specialty.
Hold an active State RN license (or willingness to obtain).
2 years of acute care experience in the relevant specialty.
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association.
