PAY & BONUS:

Competitive salary of $48k - $58k and an exceptional bonus/incentive plan designed to reward your hard work and success. Bonus Plan includes: Quarterly Sales Achievement Bonus, Performance Bonus and Year-End Bonus Pool.

SUMMARY:

Are you a motivated, hands-on leader who takes pride in keeping communities safe, beautiful, and operating at their best? Windward Communities (Deerfield Village) is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor who thrives in a dynamic environment and is dedicated to delivering an exceptional living experience for our residents.

In this role, you’ll lead the maintenance team, oversee daily operations, and ensure the community is well-maintained—from landscaping and facility upkeep to equipment operation and seasonal snow removal. You’ll play a key role in creating a clean, welcoming, and high-quality environment that residents are proud to call home.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Oversee maintenance staff, daily tasks, and contractor projects.
• Maintain community curb appeal, including landscaping, debris removal, and upkeep of common areas.
• Operate and service tractors, snow plows, and salt spreaders; perform seasonal snow removal.
• Complete minor repairs on homes, facilities, and equipment.
• Clean and maintain community buildings and vacant sites.
• Conduct site inspections and complete move-in/move-out checklists.
• Monitor and maintain water systems and pool operations as applicable.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• 1+ year of supervisory experience; high school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of grounds and maintenance experience.
• Experience operating and maintaining tractors, snow plows, salt spreaders, and similar equipment.
• Broad knowledge of general maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, and grounds work.
• Ability to work outdoors in all seasons.
• Skilled with hand tools, power equipment, and commercial machinery.
• Strong written communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic computer proficiency (email, internet).
• Ability to respond to after-hours community needs (on-call as required).
• A valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and automobile insurance.

PREFERRED

• Existing experience in Community/Multi-Family Maintenance role (highly desired)
• Existing knowledge and experience with operating maintenance equipment (highly desired)
• Existing experience with day-to-day performance of the Maintenance team
