We're hiring experienced Low Voltage Technicians to support cabling projects within hospitals and healthcare environments, with a primary focus on nurse call systems and other low voltage infrastructure. This position does not involve fire alarm installation . Ideal candidates will have a background working in active healthcare settings and the ability to deliver quality installations in high-stakes, patient-focused environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, terminate, and test nurse call cabling systems and related low-voltage infrastructure within hospitals

  • Ensure all work is completed to scope and in compliance with hospital safety protocols

  • Accurately label and document installed systems

  • Communicate effectively with field leadership and hospital contacts

  • Support minor troubleshooting and updates to existing nurse call setups

  • Maintain a clean and professional work environment on-site

  • Read and follow network diagrams, wiring schematics, and install guides

  • Escalate any site-specific issues, conflicts, or out-of-scope work promptly

Preferred Skills & Knowledge:

  • Proven experience with nurse call systems or similar low-voltage healthcare systems

  • Familiarity with active hospital environments, patient care areas, and clean rooms

  • Working knowledge of ANSI/TIA/EIA cabling standards and NEC codes

  • Experience installing CAT5e, CAT6, and coaxial cabling in structured environments

  • Skilled in using hand tools, punch down tools, and cable testers

  • Strong understanding of proper cable routing, terminations, and documentation

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • 2-5 years of low voltage cabling experience, preferably in healthcare settings

  • Ability to work evenings and in occupied hospital areas with discretion and professionalism
