Haik Humble Eye Center is searching for a Patient Care Coordinator for the Surgery Center of West Monroe. Key responsibilities of this position include chart preparation for surgery each week, greeting and checking in patients to the center, assuring that all surgical patient and family members’ questions and concerns are taken care of, and answering incoming calls to the surgery center.

Duties Include:

• Open lobby, welcome patients/family/visitors
• Remind patient of any post op appointments
• Collect surgical fees from patients as needed
• Review and sign any paperwork with patients prior to surgery
• Proof each chart for completeness after surgery is completed
• Scan documents in a timely fashion
• Call each patient to check on them and make sure they are using their medications and answer any questions they may have
• Prepare daily deposits, electronic check scanning and credit card transactions receipts to give to accounting.
• Answer all incoming calls from multiple phone lines- schedule clinical appointments, answer questions as needed
• Perform other duties as needed and assigned

Applicants must be able to work a flexible schedule as hours for this position vary, Monday through Friday. Must be available to arrive as early as 5:45 AM.
