Your New Role The People & Culture Partner, Coordinator will support the News People & Culture team as well as the business by assisting in the development and execution of P&C initiatives that ensure Warner bros. Discovery remains an employer of choice, providing solutions to employee-related matters, and assisting with general project management, conflict resolution, relationship management, delivering solutions for our managers and employees. As a positive self-starter with a collaborative mindset, you will be actively involved in helping to deliver an HR agenda in partnership with our HR centers of excellence and the News People & Culture team. Candidates for this position should be innovative, solution-oriented, analytical, collaborative, and working in a fast-paced environment. Your Role Accountabilities Support the New People & Culture team by providing project coordination and assisting in the implementation of corporate programs, talent management, compensation planning, employee development, succession planning, performance management, change management initiatives, etc. Handle routine inquiries, correspondences, and departmental administration for the People & Culture team in addition to administrative support to the VP, People & Culture Work with data and metrics, using Excel and Workday Handle on-boarding and off-boarding process for all employees (full-time, temporary and intern) Coordinate with external temporary agencies Create presentation decks, charts, graphs, and various materials, as needed Serve as a People & Culture point of contact, intake information/requests from employees and managers, and assist the People & Culture team to resolve in a proactive and positive manner Apply and communicate company policies Develop strong working relationships with all People & Culture COE functions (including Recruitment, Learning & Development, HRIS, Compensation & Benefits) to provide ‘seamless’ support and guidance to the business Qualifications & Experience Minimum of 2-3 years of experience within Human Resources Collaborative working style Genuine curiosity and strong desire to continuously learn, grow and develop Thrives in a fast-paced and challenging environment Strong in communicating with others and builds strong relationships with colleagues and employees Good judgment and ability to balance the needs of the company and employees Exceptional attention to detail, strong organization and project management skills High level of proficiency with Excel formulas, formatting, pivot tables and other analytical functions Working knowledge of compensation and benefits practices Experience in working with a culturally diverse workforce Knowledge of national, state and local Employee and Labor Relations practices, laws and regulations How We Get Things Done… This last bit is probably the most important!
