Food Manufacturing company is seeking an experience food technologist to support quality control, food safety, and regulatory complaince across production. This is a 2nd shift opportunity

Key Responsibilities:

• Enforce HACCP, GMP, and safety standards across all departments.
• Conduct pre-op, in-process, and post-op quality checks and facility walkthroughs.
• Perform and verify quality control tests, audits, and recordkeeping for food safety programs.
• Supervise and train QC staff on testing, documentation, and sanitation procedures.
• Oversee sanitation activities and ensure compliance with the Master Sanitation Schedule.
• Review supplier performance, raw materials, product labels, and calibration records.
• Investigate and resolve quality issues and customer complaints, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
• Participate in internal and external audits, mock recalls, and special projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a USDA-regulated food manufacturing facility.
• Strong knowledge of SQF, HACCP, GMP, SSOP, and FDA/USDA regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality documentation software.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
