RN Correctional Nurse Weekends at Southern Health Partners summary:

Provides nursing care to inmates at a correctional facility, ensuring adherence to medical and security protocols. Administers medications, performs assessments, and follows treatment plans under state scope of practice. Works flexible part-time and PRN schedules with opportunities for bonuses and professional development.

Location: Sauk County Jail

Open Position: Part-Time RN

Schedule: Every other Saturday & Sunday Days or Evenings

***PRN available also

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Deliver patient care, evaluate symptoms, reactions, and progress of patients, chart results, establish nursing plans and work under the boundaries of State Scope of Practice and Guidelines, and Physician/Provider(s)
• Administer prescribed medications in accordance with nursing standards & correctional regulations
• Follow through with established treatment plans
• Perform emergency intervention, physical assessment and critical thinking
