Safety Manager
Location: Kansas City, Missouri

Position Overview:
The Safety Manager will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance and oversight of safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state and federal regulations including OSHA and DOT to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop, implement and maintain safety policies and procedures in compliance with industry standards, OSHA and DOT.
· Conduct regular safety audits and fleet/equipment inspections.
· Provide training and support to team members on safety policies and procedures.
· Investigate accidents and incidents, document findings and implement corrective actions.
· Maintain accurate safety and DOT records.
· Maintain fleet and equipment maintenance and inspection records.
· Collaborate with management and field personnel to promote a culture of safety.
· Stay updated on industry regulations and safety trends.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, safety management or similar field of study.
· Minimum 5 years of experience in safety management in the construction industry.
· OSHA 500, and other safety certifications (preferred, not required)
· Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
· Strong knowledge of DOT compliance (preferred, not required)
· Excellent communication and leadership skills able to engage executive management and field personnel.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Efficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
· Strong organizational skills.
