As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in an educational setting, you will play an important role in helping to create a secure and welcoming atmosphere for students, staff, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the campus, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will interact regularly with the campus community, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while addressing questions or concerns. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting students, staff, and visitors as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the educational location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe for any unusual or suspicious behavior on the premises.
• Document and report any incidents, observations, or maintenance needs according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with campus personnel to support a secure environment for all individuals at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
