Job Description
Salary: $65K - $85K
The Structural Detailer will interpret structural design drawings in order to create fabrication and erection drawings for structural steel within tight deadlines.
Must have strong communication skills both spoken and written to effectively work with both peers and clients. Must have good working knowledge of fabrication and detailing practices and standards as well as weld terminology and symbols. Must be organized, detail-oriented, and have good self-management skills.
THIS IS AN IN-HOUSE POSITION, NOT A REMOTE POSITION
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review detailed drawings for structural steel and miscellaneous metals including stairs, rails, and other steel fabrication projects.
Do take-offs from bid package drawings to assist in quote preparation.
Perform site visits and obtain project dimensions and specifications as needed.
Experience with Tekla required
Experience with Revit and BIM preferred, but not required
