Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring an OH or compact RN license and recent MS/Tele experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in a hospital Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Rotating day and night 12-hour shifts (7:00am–7:30pm or 7:00pm–7:30am); shift assignments may vary based on operational needs
• MS/Tele patient population
• Travelers may be required to rotate shifts if necessary
• Travelers must work at least every other holiday
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate testing will be completed during orientation with two attempts allowed to pass
• Nurses are exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements until further notice
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this health system within one year of prior assignment end date
• Modules must be completed prior to start and are required annually for ongoing assignments
• Locals are accepted at the same bill rate
• Must complete onsite badging and fingerprinting before start date
• Strict compliance with documentation and reference requirements is enforced

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active OH or compact state RN license in hand at the time of consideration
• Minimum 18 months of recent permanent MS/Tele experience required
• AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• One reference from a supervisor, manager, ANM, or director in the specialty is required
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation
• No open background check cases or license incidents accepted
