As the Volunteer Recruiter and Coordinator for our Aging Life Program, you’ll be at the heart of this mission, empowering volunteers to offer vital non-medical support to seniors in their homes and communities. You won’t just be recruiting and managing volunteers—you’ll be shaping meaningful connections that positively impact the community as a whole. Your role is key in creating a network of trained, compassionate volunteers who provide the kind of care and support that makes all the difference.

R esponsibilities will include:

• Conduct face-to-face interviews with potential volunteers to help best determine appropriateness for and interest in providing services
• Conduct and document reference checks for all volunteers
• Provide individual and group training to all new volunteers
• Complete all client documentation required to make the best volunteer match
  1. Match appropriate volunteers with clients
  2. Have on-going communication with clients and volunteers throughout service provision
  3. Other duties as deemed necessary for the successful operation of the program
• Maintain volunteer records ensuring all are accurate and up-to-date including availability schedules and areas of interest

Aging Life Coordinator Minimum Salary: $ 22.50/hour

Aging Life Coordinator Maximum Salary: $ 23.00/hour

Aging Life Coordinator Schedule: 35 Hours Per week

• Mon, Tues, Thurs, Friday 8:30am-4:30pm

• Wednesday 11am-7pm
  

Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree
• 1-3 years of experience
• Valid driver's license
