Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
A bit about us: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Hybrid Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage in complex litigation matters, specifically in the field of medical malpractice. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive litigation support, conducting legal research, preparing legal documents, and assisting in trial preparation. This role requires an individual with excellent attention to detail, superior communication skills, and a thorough understanding of the discovery process and electronic filing systems.

Job Details Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive litigation support, including trial preparation and management of electronic filing systems.
- Conduct thorough legal research and prepare legal documents.
- Manage the discovery process, including document review and drafting legal documents.
- Maintain a high level of client relations and communication.
- Organize, interpret, and request medical records as part of case investigation.
- Maintain and organize case files, ensuring all relevant information is easily accessible.
- Investigate questions and conduct research to support case development.
- Summarize medical records for easy reference during case proceedings.
- Responsible for discovery, document management, pleadings, motions, and trial preparation investigation.
- Familiarity with Texas rules of civil procedure and application in case proceedings.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience in medical malpractice litigation.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
- Proven experience with litigation support, legal research, and legal document preparation.
- Proficiency in electronic filing systems and document review.
- Demonstrated ability to draft legal documents and manage client relations.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience in case investigation, including organizing, interpreting, and requesting medical records.
- Ability to maintain and organize case files.
- Experience in summarizing medical records for easy reference.
- Paralegal certificate is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Familiarity with Texas rules of civil procedure is a must.
