Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Salesforce Administrator with a strong foundation in data architecture principles, ideally gained through a Salesforce Data Architecture Associate (DAA) residency program. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, configuration, and support of our Salesforce platform, with a critical focus on optimizing data integrity, performance, scalability, and ensuring compliance with data residency requirements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, including legal and regulatory constraints around data location, and translate them into effective Salesforce solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Salesforce Administration

• Configure and maintain Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and other relevant Salesforce clouds. 
• Manage user accounts, profiles, roles, permissions, and security settings. 
• Create and maintain custom objects, fields, workflows, process builder, flows, and validation rules. 
• Design and implement reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights. 
• Perform data imports, exports, and data cleansing activities. 
• Troubleshoot and resolve user (ie. team members) issues and provide ongoing support. 
• Stay up-to-date with Salesforce releases and new features. 

Data Architecture & Management, including Data Residency

• Apply data architecture principles to design and implement efficient data models and schemas, while adhering to data residency requirements. 
• Ensure data storage and processing comply with relevant data sovereignty laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR). 
• Understand and manage data storage locations within Salesforce Hyperforce, and other relevant platforms. 
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy across the Salesforce platform. 
• Optimize data storage, performance, and scalability. 
• Implement data governance policies and procedures. 
• Utilize data migration tools and techniques to transfer data between systems, while maintaining data residency compliance. 
• Analyze and optimize data flows and integrations. 
• Document data architecture and data management processes, including data residency documentation. 
• Work with large data volumes, and understand the impact of data skews.

Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, including those related to data residency, and translate them into technical solutions. 
• Provide clear and concise communication to technical and non-technical audiences, especially regarding data residency implications. 
• Train team members on Salesforce functionality and best practices, including data handling and compliance. 
• Participate in project planning and execution.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience.
• Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM 201). 

Skills

• Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities and best practices.
• Comprehensive understanding of data residency principles and regulations. 
• Experience with Salesforce configuration, customization, and development. 
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. 
• Strong communication and interpersonal 
• Experience in a Salesforce Data Architecture residency program. 
• Specific experience managing Salesforce data in compliance with data residency requirements. 
• Knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components. 
• Experience with Salesforce integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Data Loader, Workbench). 
• Experience with SQL and relational databases. 
• Experience with large data volumes, and performance tuning. 
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to Haves

• Salesforce Data Architecture Associate Certification.
